GrandScheme Readthrough at HatTrick

I’ve spent several months taking part in a comedy team writing initiative with GrandScheme Media, in association with HatTrick productions. One of the finished scripts, Generation Lost, was given a full readthrough at HatTrick last month with a stellar cast, including two old friends of mine, Bobby Lockwood and Klariza Clayton. We received great feedback from the industry who were there and it was such a wonderful way to end the GrandScheme Initiative.

Brighton Fringe Father God 2017

I’m delighted to announce that my play Father God is going to the Brighton Fringe this May. Starring an incredible cast and directed by the wonderful Eleanor Palmer, it’s really exciting to see this new version coming together. When I originally wrote a first draft of this back in 2014, it was my favourite thing I’d ever written. Now, three years on and completely rewritten, it’s still up there as something I’m most proud of.

Shortlist for Funny Women Writing Award

I was delighted to have been shortlisted for Funny Women’s Comedy Writing Award for my latest script, Lattes.

Lattes is about two second generation Indian sisters running a cafe they both feel is beneath them. It’s a real honour for it to have been recognized by Funny Women, an organisation that does so much to promote women in comedy.
